Where spirituality meets graphic design
Crystal Clarity Publishers
This publishing house is home for the original writings of Paramhansa Yogananda, Swami Kriyananda, and others, supporting truth-seekers on their spiritual path.
As lead designer, I ushered in a unified website platform, handling both design and technical aspects. Thanks to this and other marketing efforts, the result was a boom in online sales.

Temple of Light
The Ananda Temple of Light at Ananda Village represents the heart and soul of Ananda Worldwide. It's a sanctuary for meditation, worship, and special events celebrating the Divine within all.
In preparation for an endowment fundraising campaign, I designed a new brand identity with a strong visual tie-in to the global Ananda brand. I also helped to re-organize and redesign the Temple of Light website section.

The joy of the Chakras
This website is a beginner-level introduction to the chakras, based on the Chakras for Starters book by Nayaswami Savitri.
It was used as a presentation tool for a class I gave on the chakras. Special attention was given to create a low-profile, fast-loading website that works well (as all sites should) on all types of devices.

Autobiography of a Yogi App
Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramhansa Yogananda is one of the great spiritual classics of the 20th century, and continues to inspire truth-seekers of many paths to seek the Divine.
This upcoming app is designed to share freely the entire work in its original edition. It also has resources to aid in a deeper study of the book and gateways to learn more about meditation and Ananda.
In this labor of love, I contributed the concept, UX, visual design (of everything except the book content), and code to make the app run—the work of a true full-stack designer!

HI, I’M NABHA
Monk for six years, designer for 20
For many years—including six as a monk—I served at Ananda Sangha Worldwide in communications-related roles. I designed, coded, wrote for, and marketed websites; I worked on emails and apps; and I led teams producing content and digital marketing for Ananda that over time reached millions of people around the world.
This background as a “deep generalist” informs my design work: I know most of the technical possibilities and limitations of websites and apps and have a natural understanding of how to use design in service of marketing.
My goal in focusing on design is to help spiritual organizations — channels by which the techniques of inner joy are sustained in this world — be more compelling choices to people on the street.
“Nabha has the eye of an artist and the practical implementation skills of a builder. He is also kind, trustworthy, and creative. I highly recommend him!”
Gita Malock, former Director of Communications at Ananda Sangha Worldwide
